National Black Food and Justice Alliance

National Black Food and Justice Alliance (NBFJA) is a coalition of Black-led organizationsworking towards cultivating and advancing Black leadership, building self-determination,institution building and organizing for food sovereignty, land and justice. The Alliance seeks toachieve this by engaging in broad based coalition organizing for food and land justice, increasingvisibility of Black led narratives and work, advancing Black led visions for just and sustainablecommunities, and building capacity for self-determination within our local, national, andinternational food systems.

Black Culinarian Alliance, Inc.

BCAGlobal is an organization that for 25 years has worked to advance opportunities and racial equity for BIPOC individuals in the culinary/foodservice industry. As the organization’s efforts gained traction and recognition, BCAGlobal expanded its focus to bringing health equity and food and social justice to marginalized communities. Our community-focused efforts are guided by the actionable education and insights of our flagship program, Mindful Eating for the Beloved Community. The nationwide initiative has raised food literacy and facilitated access to quality, affordable nutrition and equitable health resources for several major urban areas such as Atlanta, Detroit as well as through our ongoing initiative in the Bronx.
