Venezuela Earthquakes Relief Fund

On June 24, 2026, two powerful earthquakes (7.2 and 7.5 magnitude) struck north-central Venezuela, among the strongest in over a century. Buildings collapsed in Caracas and surrounding states, power and hospitals were disrupted, and a state of emergency was declared. Search and rescue is underway; official casualty and damage figures are still being assessed. Your donation to this Fund will help the following organizations provide on-the-ground needs assessments, rescue efforts, resource distribution, and medical intervention to those impacted.

International Rescue Committee (IRC)

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is scaling up services to support survivors of the two deadly earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24th.

Artsen zonder Grenzen (Médecins Sans Frontières, The Netherlands)

Doctors without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières has the mission to provide impartial medical relief to the victims of ware, diseases and natural disaster.

Vereniging Het Nederlandse Rode Kruis

Venezuela has been hit by two severe earthquakes. Houses collapsed, roads are damaged, and many people do not yet know if their loved ones are safe. There are fears of many fatalities. The Red Cross has immediately swung into action to help in Venezuela. Your help is also desperately needed now

World Vision Netherlands

Operating an active disaster response in the region. World Vision is prioritizing immediate survival needs for affected families and children. Their response efforts focus on delivering emergency shelter, safe drinking water, food assistance, and crucial psychosocial support for children impacted by the trauma.

Direct Relief

Direct Relief is in communication with local and regional organizations about medical needs and will mobilize medical aid deliveries to help address immediate and near-term health requests.

The organization has an extensive history of medical support in South America and the Caribbean, including work in coordination with the Pan American Health Organization, the branch of the World Health Organization in the Americas, since 2018, to provide regional medical support during emergencies and support health systems throughout the region.
