We, the Humanistischer Verband Berlin-Brandenburg KdöR, represent the interests of non-religious people. We are committed to a more humane society based on tolerance, self-determination and solidarity. Our fully and partially inpatient children's hospice Berliner Herz is a family-orientated and child-friendly facility near Straußberger Platz for a total of nine guests. At our facility, we pursue a concept that is unique in Germany in that, in addition to the classic full inpatient admission, we also offer partial inpatient respite on an hourly basis. Families can take advantage of our respite services either during the day or at night. In this way, families with children with life-shortening illnesses can take advantage of the children's hospice services that are right for them and their needs.
